Age 17 or 18: Because of the medicine I took for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, thought I would never be able to have children.
Age 25: On new meds -- possibility of kids!
Age 29: Met DH
Age 32: DH and I decide to get married and have kids
Age 32: (Nov 2009) Stopped BC. Expect to get pregnant immediately
Age 33: (Jan 2011) Started seeing RE. Bunch of tests. SA for DH is great. I have blocked left tube because of a dermoid cyst removed when I was 22.
Age 34:
March 2011: First cycle of Clomid, Bravelle, Ovidrel + timed intercourse = BFN
April 2011: Second cycle of Clomid, Bravelle, Ovidrel + timed intercourse = BFN
May 2011: Third cycle of Clomid, Bravelle, Ovidrel + timed intercourse = BFN
June and July 2011: Off ART until IVF in August
August 2011: IVF/ICSI, 9 follicles, 5 eggs, 4 fertilized, 3 transferred on Aug 20. BFN
Sept 2011 - Oct 2011: Figuring out what's wrong with me.
Oct 2011: Dx with MTHFR (heterozygous) and blood clotting disorders. Set for 2nd IVF in Jan or Mar, depending on when I make up my mind to do it.
Dec 2011: OB/GYN says homocysteine levels are fine, but Vitamin D is low.
Feb 2012: Start taking BCP for the 2nd IVF in March.
Age 35: Now
March- April 2012: IVF/ICSI, 6 follicles, 3 mature eggs (5 eggs retrieved), 3 fertilized, 3 transferred BFN
Decide no more ART.
