About

I’m having a hard time starting this, so I’ll borrow from Gwen Stefani and say I’m just a girl…

I’m just a girl, who has had psoriasis since I was five, psoriatic arthritis since I was 17, and spent most of my life thinking those two things would keep me from ever being a mom.  Then, bing, introduce the marvels of modern medicine and the wonderdrug Humira, my wonderful and mostly supportive DH, and eighteen years (well, nineteen now) later, I’m just a girl hoping to get pregnant and have a sweet little one, or two, who will call me Mom.

This blog is my way of chronicling my journey to that day.
